Occasionally, one or another instrument may be substituted, given the needs of the musical composition.<\/p>\n<p>The group's sonority is remarkable; all the brilliance and power of the metals can be perceived in the formation. Nevertheless, the group is musically eclectic, and can easily move from classical to popular repertoires, which makes it a chamber group capable of pleasing diverse tastes and fitting into any events, Quartet<\/h5>\n<p>This group can be made up of various types of clarinets. The family of clarinets is giant, we have \"Requinta\", which is the Piccolo Clarinet in Eb and we go up to the Bass Clarinet in Bb. The clarinet quartet of the S\u00e3o Paulo Philharmonic Band is composed of three soprano clarinets and a bass clarinet. This formation can venture into several styles of repertoire: classical, jazz, traditional, contemporary and we cannot forget our Brazilian Popular Music. This versatility is due to the fact that the clarinet is an instrument that is propitious to virtuosity, both technical, where the clarinetist can play passages with great speed, and dynamic, where
